Let Me Upgrade You: Shower Edition

If you’re anything like me then time and/or your bank account don’t allow for you to take regular trips to the spa. No worries, I’m here to let you know how you can upgrade your shower experience right at home. Stressed? Congested? Headaches? Eucalyptus can help with all of that and then some. I’m sure you’re thinking “why the hell would I want to hand a plant in my shower?” Let me put you on game real quick.

You’ll want to go to your local Trader Joe’s and get some eucalyptus. They have it for only $2.99; very inexpensive. You can purchase your eucalyptus elsewhere but TJ’s has it for the low, low. Take some twine and bind the stems of the eucalyptus together. You’ll then want to take another piece of twine and tie the end of your bundle BEHIND your shower head with the eucalyptus hanging down. You don’t want to have the water directly hitting the eucalyptus. You may be looking at my picture and thinking, “Well, you don’t have your eucalyptus hanging. It’s just sitting there.” Yea, I know. Don’t be like Pamela. Be better than Pamela. Lastly, take a hot shower and voilà. The steam from the shower will help release healing and revitalizing essential oils from the eucalyptus.

I’ve been showering with eucalyptus in my shower for the past two weeks and it’s helped tremendously with my headaches. Trust me, I wouldn’t suggest something if I didn’t personally try it out myself. Don’t believe me? Try it out for yourself. For less than $5 what do you have to lose? Well, I guess that might be your coffee money but I promise you won’t regret it.
